Turma de Farmácia da UFAM complementa formação no CIDE
Uma turma de estudantes iniciantes do curso de Farmácia, da Universidade Federal do Amazonas (Ufam) esteve visitando, em agosto, algumas empresas que atuam no segmento de Cosméticos, Exames Laborais, Fitoterápicos, para complementar a formação.
Acompanhados da professora Alcinira Farias, da disciplina de Introdução à prática farmacêutica, os alunos conheceram as instalações das empresas, conversaram com os empresários da área de Farmácia. “São estudantes que estão iniciando o curso e vimos a necessidade de mostrar para eles os locais de atuação de um profissional de Farmácia e a importância desse profissional na sociedade. Assim, eles vão conhecendo e vão entendo o que é ser um farmacêutico”, diz a professora.
Ainda segundo Alcinira, trata-se de um semestre inteiro de visitas para saber onde o farmacêutico pode atuar e para que os estudantes se sintam motivados. Toda semana estaremos visitando um laboratório, um hospital, uma farmácia de manipulação, enfim, diversos setores de Farmácia”, conta, acrescentando que antes da visita, eles têm aulas teóricas sobre o que eles vão visitar. “Como aqui se trata de uma incubadora de empresas, alguns já mostraram certa vontade de um dia ser um empreendedor na área de Farmácia. Mas, o que fazemos é mostrar que eles podem atuar em diversos setores”, conclui a docente.
A estudante de Farmácia do segundo período, Beatriz Cardosa, ficou animada e impressionada com o que viu. “A visita nos proporcionou um conhecimento melhor do ambiente de trabalho e de áreas de atuação do Farmacêutico. Isso me dá mais motivação para continuar estudando. Eu quero fazer pesquisas nessa área e aqui eu percebi que é possível”, diz a estudante, que vai ter que apresentar um relatório da visita, explicando o que eles viram e vão fazer um debate entre eles.
